What to expect when you visit Woodward Park Baptist Church
When you come on Sunday mornings you can expect a warm, friendly environment. You will be greeted by church members who are willing to help you find your way to worship (in our multi-purpose gymnasium), the preschool or children's building, or answer questions that you may have. Our music is upbeat and contemporary, and our sermons are biblical and practical.
We offer Preschool Extended Care during both worship services in the Preschool building. During the 11 a.m. worship service the children (grades K-6) will be dismissed about half way through the worship service to follow adult volunteers to the Children’s building for their children’s worship experience at Compass Point Jr. Church.
We encourage everyone to attend a Sunday morning Bible study class. There are classes for all ages: children, youth, college, and adults. The classes begin at 9:45 am. Drop off your children for fun classes aimed at teaching them the Bible. They will be safe as they join classes led by adult volunteers who have gone through our Child Protection Training and background checks.
It is our goal to provide a comfortable place for you to experience Christ and learn from His Word. We seek to be a community of believers that stand on truth and exhibit grace.
